Akissi

IN DEVELOPMENT

Akissi is a young girl growing up in a lively neighborhood of a contemporary African city, where children spend their days playing in the streets.

She has a strong personality and a sharp tongue, proudly stands up for equality between girls and boys, takes care of babies, devours sweets, rescues animals, quarrels with her brothers and sisters… and above all, constantly gets herself into trouble.

Driven by the highly expressive drawing style of Mathieu Sapin, Akissi’s everyday adventures speak to children everywhere. Because from Africa to Europe, mishaps and mischief are universal.
